Women in GIS - Special Interest Group

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Wisconsin WiGIS-WI was started in 2015 by Kelly Felton and Jennifer Borlick after they attended a Women in GIS Special Interest Group lunch at the 2015 Esri User Conference. Since then, they have led special interest groups at WLIA regional meetings and annual conferences, as well as the Esri Wisconsin User Group. WiGIS-WI has social media presence on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter; a Google Group; and a blog.

Join Kelly, Jennifer and special guest Cory Richter from the Minnesota GIS/LIS Equity Advocates Workgroup (EA) for a discussion about the current Women in GIS - Wisconsin group and where to take it into the future. We will look at the EA mission statement and goals, the history and results of a recent salary survey and the potential for collaboration.

As always, WiGIS-WI is looking for volunteers. If you would like to contribute in any way, please let Kelly and Jennifer know.
