The WICDI project aims to establish a Wisconsin Coastal-Management Data Infrastructure. With funding from NOAA, the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program, and the State Cartographer’s Office at UW-Madison, we are combining a mapping community of practice with an innovative digital collaborative environment to improve coastal hazard planning and policy development.
Recently, WICDI Community of Practice members completed a survey ranking close to 200 culvert inventory attributes. Analyzing the results of that survey brings us closer to developing a standardized relational database model for collecting, editing, and sharing culvert data among organizations and across the Lake Superior region (and beyond).
Also speaking, here is a lineup of panelists:
- Cody Kamrowski, WEM
- Kyle Magyera, Wisconsin Wetlands
- Jason Laumann, NWRPC
- Jeremy Freund, Outagamie County
